Since 1962, Sarasota Obedience Training Club has been helping dog owners in Southwest Florida train their canine companions. Whether you are interested in competing, or if you’re just looking to train a well-behaved pet, we have a class for you.
SOTC is run by dog-loving volunteers with decades of experience training dogs and teaching others to train their canine companions.
In addition to offering a wide variety of training classes, we also host multiple competitions a year in agility, obedience, rally and scentwork. We frequently host seminars by top trainers and judges.
SOTC is conveniently located off I-75 in east Sarasota. You’ll find us in between State Road 64 and 70 just beyond Lakewood Ranch. We have a two-ring indoor climate controlled building and a beautiful fully-fenced lighted agility field that is outdoors on grass.
