Connection, Cooperation & Control (CCC)™ Level 1
Class Fee: $150
Course Length: 6 weeks; 1.5 hour classes

Learn the philosophy behind CCC’s unique puzzle reward system and how to incorporate it into your training. Motivate your dog to work with you even when you don’t have treats in your pocket by teaching him to solve two food puzzles that will be used as a reward throughout the class. Teach your dog voluntary eye contact, connection, cooperation, explicit permission and a simple relaxation technique to help him find balance. Improve your ability to read shifts in your dog’s arousal and make adjustments to keep him thoughtful, productive and compliant. Discover how your body language and intent influence the dog’s ability to work with you as you begin learning how to walk together on a loose leash.

This unique course will consist of 6 individual classes at 1.5 hours per class to provide all class participants with adequate learning time. Additionally, there are required supplemental course materials that all participants will purchase directly from the instructor for $20.

Teach your dog how to solve a new food puzzle and continue his eagerness to work with you using CCC’s puzzle reward system. Give your dog practice balancing his arousal in new ways to keep him thoughtful, productive and aware of you. Sustain your connection on a loose leash. Discover how to use visual, auditory and olfactory distractions productively while keeping your dog thoughtful and compliant. Learn a fun hunting game you can play with your dog to engage him when he’s got other ideas, and how to use it as an alternate reward.

Connection, Cooperation & Control (CCC)™ Level 3
Class Fee: $150
Course Length: 6 weeks; 1.5 hour classes

Practice sustaining connection and awareness on a loose leash with visual, auditory and olfactory distraction, and learn how to incorporate social distractions productively while keeping your dog balanced and connected. Learn how to fade the puzzles and still keep the dog engaged in new locations. Discover how to use distractions as rewards for attentive compliance.

Prerequisite:  Successful completion of CCC Level 2

Cooperative K9 Games
Class Fee: $20 per class
1 hour class

Prerequisite: Must have completed a Connection, Cooperation, & Control class or Basic Obedience class.

Join us for some fun! Practice teamwork skills with your canine partner playing fun training games designed to strengthen your relationship with your dog. Each week will offer different games to play. Dogs should be comfortable with other dogs and people moving in the classroom. We will work on:

Opportunities for your dog to be thoughtful and attentive
Cooperative fun exercises with distractions
Communication in a new setting with positive rewards

Equipment:
The focus is on a positive relationship between your dog and you so your dog will be working on a flat or Martingale collar and a six foot leash. You may transport your dog to and from the classroom on a no-pull front clip harness or gentle leader, but please plan to remove it once you’re in the classroom. Choke collars, prong collars, e-collars or flexi-leads are not allowed.

Introduction to Canine Freesyle
Class Fee: $105*
Course Length: 4 weeks; 1.5 hour classes

Introduction to CanineFreestyle DogWork® is a choreographed performance activity with music for dog and human teams. Work as a team, showing your dog’s best attributes creatively and artistically. This class is the first of a 2 session series. Session 1 will help you understand movement, use the presentation space, work on timing and training your eye, as well as developing moves that enhance your dog’s natural grace and beauty – all using music and fun. Dogs should be comfortable working with other dogs on the floor and must be able to maintain a reasonable heel position on- or off-lead. Beginning Level 1 & 2 obedience or similar classes are recommended. Crates are recommended. This is not a tricks class. CanineFreestyle DogWork depends on highlighting your dog’s natural movement and beauty rather than actual tricks.

Introduction to Canine Freestyle I and II Combo Class
Class Fee $105*
Course Length: 4 weeks; 1.5 hour classes

Introduction to CanineFreestyle DogWork® II is a choreographed performance activity with music for dog and human teams. Work as a team, showing your dog’s best attributes creatively and artistically. In this class, you will select music, begin choreography and think creatively about your dog’s movement. Dogs should be comfortable working with other dogs on the floor and must be able to maintain a reasonable heel position on or off lead. Crates are recommended. This is not a tricks class.
