Hide and Seek Class Combo of Level I and II

HIDE AND SEEK
The Hide And Seek class is a great workout for your dog’s brain and body, and a fun way to build a strong bond between you and your dog through play. It lets your dog be a dog by using the natural instinct of smell, and can also help with dog training. Class activities help dogs learn the skills of focusing on completing a task, figuring out solutions to receive rewards and reinforce the desire to work.
Level 1
The dogs are introduced to seek and find without help from the owner by developing their skills at finding items starting with food and moving to other items (car keys, phone, glasses, etc.) by the smell of the item.
The Hide and Seek class is not to be confused with competitive Scentwork classes, nor is it a precursor to it.

The dogs will continue to perfect their skills at finding hidden items in a variety of objects. Items to be found will be placed out of sight to encourage the dogs to focus on the smell of the item.

Introduction to Canine Freesyle I Register Now

Course Length 4 Weeks
• Introduction to CanineFreestyle DogWork® is a choreographed performance activity with music for dog and human teams. Work as a team, showing your dog’s best attributes creatively and artistically.
• This class is the first of a 2 session series.
• Classes will be 1 ½ hours for four sessions.
• Session 1 will help you understand movement, use the presentation space, work on timing and training your eye, as well as developing moves that enhance your dog’s natural grace and beauty. All using music and fun.
• Dogs should be comfortable working with other dogs on the floor and must be able to maintain a reasonable heel position on or off lead. Beginning Level I & II obedience or similar classes are recommended. Crates recommended.
• This is not a tricks class. CanineFreestyle DogWork depends on highlighting your dog’s natural movement and beauty rather than actual tricks.
• Limit 6.

-Dogs should be comfortable working with other dogs on the floor and must be able to maintain a reasonable heel position on or off lead. -Crates recommended.
